Message from A L Sabarullah Khan-Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Sultanate of Oman

MUSCAT: I avail great honour and delight in conveying my sincere greetings and best wishes to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Government and the beloved people of the Sultanate of Oman on the glorious occasion of celebrating the 52nd National Day of the Sultanate of Oman.

Sri Lanka and Oman have been enjoying untainted diplomatic relations and people-to-people contact at multiple levels.  Moreover, many  Sri Lankans have made the Sultanate their second home working and living for decades which has become a model win-win approach between nations.  When the Government and people of the Sultanate ambitiously look forward to implement the Oman 2040 Vision and provide great leadership to the region and the globe in multiple fields including religious tolerance, green hydrogen, renewable energy and sustainable development, I am confident that Sri Lanka will supplement and complement the process with its skilled workforce and knowledge base, as always done.

I am further honoured to use this opportunity to extend my best wishes to His Majesty for good health and personal well-being and a prosperous future to the friendly people of the Sultanate of Oman.
