COLOMBO: The All-Ceylon YMMA Conference held a massive Meelad Day celebrations at its headquarters on Sunday, October 9
The proceedings which was relayed by the SLBC live,was held under the patronage of its President Ihsaan Ahmed Hameed. The meeting started with the opening speech by Hameed was followed by a Bayan-religious discourse- and then the recital of Mowlood.
The project Chairman and past president of the All-Ceylon YMMA Conference,Tawfiq Zubyr said the celebrations were held in a grand manner with the participation of members and non-members. The event was followed by a sumptuous ‘Kidu’ dinner.
The President of the YWMA Sri Lanka, Fawaza Thaha and Khalid Farouk, President of the Nazirah Hussain Foundation, Malaysia met with the Chief Editor of Colombo Times Mohammed Rasooldeen during the Meelad Day celebrations at the YMMA, Colombo.
Fawaza Thaha, President of the YWMA Sri Lanka,also received a donation towards the Meelad Day Celebrations from Khalid Farouk, President of the Nazirah Hussain Foundation, Malaysia
