Malé, Maldives The Sri Lanka High Commission Cup 2024, organized by the Sri Lanka Friendship Forum of Maldives, affiliated with the Sri Lanka High Commission in the Maldives, concluded on a high note, bringing together 16 talented Sri Lankan teams for an exciting day of cricket, camaraderie, and community spirit.
This much-anticipated tournament was about more than just cricket. It united the Sri Lankan community in the Maldives and fostered friendships while celebrating the shared love for the sport. Players gave their best on the field, with thrilling matches leading to an unforgettable final.
The tournament saw lively participation from players and enthusiastic support from the community. At the awards ceremony, Ranga Goonawardena, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to the Maldives and Chairman of the Friendship Forum, along with Dr. Mohamed Faizeen, President of the Sri Lanka Friendship Forum, presented trophies and prizes to the champions and runners-up, recognizing their exceptional performances.
