Lankan teen crowned Miss Teen International Botswana 2021

COLOMBO : Gimhani Perera, a 17-year-old with Sri Lankan roots, has won the ‘Miss Teen International Botswana 2021’ pageant held in Botswana.

The teen, representing her district Pilikwe, was crowned at the pageant held on Sunday. According to Gimhani’s father, Indika Perera, 14 finalists were chosen from among 42 contestants who competed from the preliminary rounds.

After winning the title, she announced that she was looking forward to winning the Miss Teen International title.

A student of Livingstone Kolobeng College, Botswana, Gimhani previously placed second at the Little Miss Princess Of The World – 2019/20 pageant.

Gimhani Perera’s father, Indika Perera, is a businessman who had migrated to Botswana in 1990.
