COLOMBO — President Ranil Wickremesinghe has returned to the island after concluding his visit to Cuba and the United States where he attended the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The delegation led by the President had arrived at Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport at around 8:30 this morning on the Emirates Airlines flight EK-650 from Dubai.
The President first visited Cuba to participate in the G-77 Heads of State Summit held in Havana from September 15th to the 16th.
After that, he participated in the 78th Annual Session of the United Nations General Assembly held in the United States from the 19th to the 21st.
