COLOMBO: Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Ali Sabry met the South African President Cyril Ramaphosa at the Bandaranaike International Airport during the latter’s transit in Collmbo in Monday, Nov. Sabry said : “We discussed the historically strong ties between our nations & shared knowledge on nation building & domestic peace building mechanisms.”
Ramaphosa is the President of the African National Congress also the chair of the Aftican Union.
Foreign Secretary Aruni Wijewardene was also present during the discussions
