MUSCAT : Sri Lanka Ambassador in Oman, Ameer Ajwad’s beloved father Late Marhoom M. M. Omar Lebbe, was remembered on his 40th day of his death in Muscat on Sunday, July 25
Following Marhoom Omar Lebbe’s demise,remembered, funeral prayers-Salat al-Gaib Janaza prayers were also conducted at “Ummul Kurah” Jummah Masjid in Muscat, by the members of the Sri Lankan community in Oman.
Marhoom Omar Lebbe was a retired teacher of English language and had served in different Government schools including a long service at Mihindu Mawatha Maha Vidyalaya, Colombo 12. He was a Sworn Translator and a Whole Island Justice of Peace. He was also a member of Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Association
