The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Sri Lanka has continued to extend its support for the development of the rural economy in Sri Lanka by opening up many employment opportunities for Sri Lankan rural youth. In North Western Province, there are a significant number of youths currently unemployed and expecting to be employed in skilled and semi-skilled jobs in Korea. The inaccessibility of language learning facilities within a commutable distance has been a major challenge for them. Therefore, the establishment of this Korean Language Learning Centre is expected to benefit many youths in the Kurunegala District.
