General Secretary – ACJU, making a statement on the incident which occurred at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry said here on Friday : “ We wish to express our displeasure and deeply regret the incident which occurred Wednesday,Sept 9. at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI).
An urgent meeting of the Executive Committee of ACJU was held today, 10th of September 2020 at 10.30 am, to obtain clarifications from Ash Shaikh M.M.M. Murshid, Asst. General Secretary of ACJU, regarding the reported incident. As per the Constitution of the ACJU, a special committee has been appointed to further inquire about this matter.
Furthermore, Ash Shaikh M.M.M. Murshid has submitted a letter to the ACJU Head Office, informing that he is resigning from the post of Assistant General Secretary of ACJU until the inquiry proceedings of the aforesaid are completed, which was accepted by the Executive Committee of ACJU.”
