COLOMBO: Parliamentarian and leading gem businessman Marjan Faleel celebrates his 62nd birthday on Monday, June 10.
Marjan who is the chairman of the China Fort Gem and Jewelry Association is the son of former Beruwela Urban Council chairman , the Late Faleel Hajiar.
Marjan , former chairman of the Beruwela Urban Council entered parliament in 2020.
Besides being a prominent gem merchant, Marjan is an active social worker and a well-known philanthropist.
He is an old boy of Zahira College, Gampola.
