COLOMBO : The ongoing island-wide quarantine curfew, has been extended for a period of six days,Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella said here on Friday,August 27.
The cabinet spokesman tweeted that the quarantine curfew will be in force until 4.00 am on the 06th of September (Monday).
He urged the members of the public to refrain from unnecessary travel, to continue to work from home and to abide by the curfew orders.
“The current COVID19SL curfew will continue till Monday 4am (06/09). Following an observation that citizens have not taken the curfew to heart,to be effective, I implore again to refrain from unnecessary travel, work from home and abide by the curfew.”
