JAMMU; In Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an employee of the Jal Shakti Department raped a Hindu woman in Samba district.
A middle-aged woman had filed an application in the court stating that she was raped by the accused at his house after posing as a healer of skin diseases.
The victim said she fell into the trap of the accused during a visit to a temple, the FIR said.
She further said in the application that she along with her sister had gone to Baba Siddh Goriya temple, Swankha from where the accused took in her to visit his house where he locked the door from inside, gave ‘charnamrit’ & ‘vibhuti’ to her due to which she got unconscious and the accused committed rape on her.
The employee, a resident of the Ramgarh area, was arrested, Samba police said.
