India win big to deny clean sweep, Bangladesh win series 2-1

CHATTOGRAM: India beat Bangladesh by a massive 227 runs margin with batting brilliance being displayed by a brilliant double century by Ishan Kishan and a century by Virat Kohli in the third and final ODI match held at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.

Ishan Kishan adjudged player of the match scored an amazing 210 runs off 131 balls as India piled up a massive 409 for 8 wickets in 50 overs. Virat Kohli hit his 44th century (113  off 91 balls) and also put together a memorable stand of 290 runs with Ishan Kishan to allow India to set a target of 410 runs . Bangladesh was bundled out for only 182 runs off 34 overs with S Thakur picking up 3 wickets for 30 runs in 5 overs. Azar Patel & Umran Malik picked up 2 wickets each.

Bangladesh won the ODI series 2-1 however India managed to deny Bangladesh the satisfaction of a clean sweep. Mehidy Hasan was adjudged the player of the series for his consistent performances with both the bat and the ball. This is the first time he has won a Man of the Series award.
