MELBOURNE – Mates Vision held their 11th Annual Cricket Taped Ball tournament at the Selendra Reserve, Cranbourne, Victoria, Melbourne on Australia day (26th of January 2024).
This is an annual event conducted by Mates Vision Australia and the proceeds of this tournament will be utilised for their projects both in Sri Lanka and in Australia. Some of their ongoing projects are:
– Orphan Support Program
– Widows Support Program
– Scholarship Scheme for the underprivileged children
– Support for kids with special needs
– Emergency Appeals
– Homeless Run Campaign – Food distribution for the Homeless in Melbourne, Australia.
Northern Warriors lead by Hussain Faizar, defeated Soaring Sixers in the finals in a hard fought game.
