COLOMBO – Ambassador designate to Saudi Arabia Ameer Ajwad lauded the yeoman services rendered by the Association of Muslim Youth of Sailan ( Jamiyathush Shabab ) to all citizens without any discrimination.
Ajwad was speaking at an Iftar event hosted by association on Thursday March 4 at the AMYS Auditorium in Colombo.
Iftar event was dedicated to felicitate Ajwad who is take up appointment as ambassador in Saudi Arabia
The event was held under the patronage of Association of Muslim Youth of Sailan ( Jamiyyathush Shabab ) Managing Director Ash Sheik M.S.M. Thassim.
Ajwad praised the AMYS community services to the all communities without any races and said “We can develop our relationship with other communities without any problems through such social interactions. Also, he said AMY’S contribute to strengthen bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia. He hoped this organization can do more community work throughout the country in the future too.
