SRINAGAR : In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police conducted house raids at multiple locations in the Kashmir Valley.
The Indian police accompanied by the personnel of paramilitary forces carried out searches on at several locations in Srinagar, Islamabad and Kulgam districts.
In Srinagar, the searches were carried out in Rangreth, Nowshera, Hawal, Nigeen, Soura, HMT, Eidgah, Khaniyar, Lal Bazar and Rainawari areas. The police teams searched the residences of journalists, Waseem Raja, Gowhar Geelani, Hakim Rashid Maqbool and Mukhtar Ahmad Baba, as well as Advocate Aadil Pandith and civilians, Sajad Ahmad Sheikh, Nazir Ahmad Shah, Sajad Ahmad Kralyari, Mohammad Rafi, Rashid Maqbool and Momin Gulzar.
In Islamabad district, the Indian police personnel conducted raids at the joint residence of Hurriyat leader Qazi Yasir and journalist Qazi Shibli.
The searches were also carried out by the police at the residences of journalist, Khalid Gul, and freedom activist Basit Dar in Kulgam district.-KMS
