“ I convey my best wishes to all Muslims who celebrate Eid-Ul-Alha or the Haj Festival today, giving priority to charity, sacrifice and unity.
The Haj Pilgrimage is one of the five pillars on which the foundation of the religion of Islam rests.
It is a belief that every Islam devotee who is physically and economically capable should engaged in the Haj Pilgrimage at least once in their life time.
It is through the Pilgrimage of Haj that the hundreds of thousands of Muslim devotees scattered throughout the world join together with one objective and wish for the value of unity which is the aspiration of humanity, at one sacred premises.
Accordingly, the leading religious festival that communicates to the world community the greatness of social coexistence can be named as the Haj festival.
Similar to last year, this time too the opportunity for Muslims to go for pilgrimage to Makkah has been restricted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
It is my belief that this does not hinder the Haj Day good wishes which value peace, brotherhood and equality.
Complying with instructions issued by health sectors that traditional religious observances where people gather at mosques should not be held, all of us have to get together with an unwavering resoluteness and work towards eradicating Covid-19 from the world.
I appeal to God on a great day such as today, while following properly the guidance provided through Islam that the people of the world to be freed from the Covid pandemic during a short period of time.
Our wish is that all of your good deeds be accepted by Almighty Allah.”
I wish all our Islam devotees brotherhood, a happy Eid-Ul-Alha festival where the goals of the Haj Festival which recollect cordiality and reconciliation among various ethnicities be transformed into reality.”
