NEGOMBO; A branch office of the ‘GotaGoHome’ protest was opened in Jaela some 30kms from the capital of Colombo on Wednesday, June 1
A spokesperson from the group told Colombo Times that the office was opened to mark the 52nd day of the protests and to show the solidarity of the people for the campaign which is meant for the expulsion of the present president from office.
A procession of motorbikes from the coastal town of Negombo made a beeline to the new branch holding black flags.
