COLOMBO – Zahira College Founders Day was held at the College Abdul Ghaffoor Hall on Saturday December 3. It was under the patronage of Principal of College Trizviiy Marikkar.
Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt Maged Mosleh delivered his oration for the day on “Contribution of Orabi Pasha for the Development of Education of Muslims in Sri Lanka “
Religious Affairs Coordinator Ash Sheik Abdul Haleem conducted special prayers for the founders of Zahira College.
Principal Trizviiy Marikkar along with the Chairman of the Board of Governors Fouzul Hameed presented token of appreciation to the Ambassador of Egypt Maged Mosleh behalf of the College.
Embassy of the State of Libya Counsellor Dr. Mahmoud A M Almaalool, Counsellor of the Saudi Arabia Embassy Eisa Abdul Rahman H Amalki, Deputy Principal Razeen Assan, Vice Principals Mrs. Hijazy Mohideen, Mrs. Zeenath Ismail and Ash Sheik A. M. Mihilar, Sectional Heads, Secretary Board of Governors Alavi Mukthar, and Members of Board of Governors, Old Boys, Teachers and Students were present at the ceremony.
