FIFA World Cup 2022 : Poland Beat Saudi Arabia- 2-0 goals

DOHA: Robert Lewandowski starred with a goal and an assist as Poland defeated Saudi Arabia 2-0 in a Group C match at the Education City Stadium on Saturday,  November 27 .

The Poland captain set up his team’s opening goal which was converted by Piotr Zielinski in the first-half, before scoring his first-ever World Cup goal late in the second-half to give his team all three points. (MATCH-CENTRE)

Al Malki was caught dwelling on the ball in a dangerous area and Lewandowski picks his pocket before scoring his first World Cup match. The pulsating clash between Saudi Arabia and Poland highlighted the dominance of Saudi Arabia in the game for large durations, but resolute Poland back line and an inspired goalkeeping performance kept them at bay.

Poland will next face Argentina, with the win they moved to the top of Group C.
