Australia sparked their World Cup campaign into life thanks to a 1-0 win over Tunisia, secured by Mitchell Duke’s excellent first-half header.
Australia had to use all of their defensive abilities to shut out their opponents,the defensive pairing of Harry Souttar and Kye Rowles were on point, aided by the excellent Aaron Mooy. Australia were beaten 4-1 by defending champions France in their opener, despite taking a shock lead, while Tunisia and Denmark played out a stalemate, but this clash could be key to the qualification picture.
