FIFA World Cup 2022 : Ghana strikes South Korea 3-2 to take top spot in Group H

DOHA: South Korea managed to score two in three minutes to match in the second half before Ghana took the lead again. Mohammed Kudus pulled in twice as Ghana edged out South Korea 3-2 in a rapid and fluctuating World Cup Group H game to remain in contention for the next round. Gue-sung netted twice in three minutes to level at 2-2, only to allow Kudus to give Ghana the victorious twist in a heart-stopping contest.

Ghana gave a massive uplift  to their World Cup Campaign as they saw Korea off with a dramatized 3-2 victory. Heung-min Son missed to have an impactful game for South Korea.

Gue-Sung Cho’s brace of headers just after half time helped Paulo Bento’s side battle back from 2-0 down to draw level at 2-2. Kudus had the final say with an assured left-footed finish, to support Ghana with a vital three points and cause South Korea to reach the bottom of the group. Meanwhile, they are expected to beat Brazil in order to qualify for the last 16, while Ghana will fancy their chances after this thrilling triumph.

The game was all about persistence from Korea and a terrific victory for Ghana.
