COLOMBO : Minister of Environment Naseer Ahamed met with the Ambassador of Turkiye R. Demet Şekercioğlu at the Ministery of Environment on Tuesday, October 25.
Both parties had a positive and encouraging discussion focusing on sectors with potential for mutual cooperation and benefits, including investment promotion, tourism and mining . Cooperation in environmental projects were also underscored.
Minister Ahamed has been invited as the chief Guest for the 99th Turkish National Day celebrations due to be held in Colombo on Friday October 28.
