COLOMBO — Wesley College English Literary Union had organized its English Day Celebrations at the College Main Hall recently.
Prashan De Visser, Founder President of Sri Lanka Unites was present as the chief guest and guest-of-honour was the Principal of Wesley College Avanka Fernando were @ the occasion.
Keynote address was delivered by distinguished old boy of Wesley College Muthaaz Barry which was later followed by the informal segment in which invited schools took part into different colour groups and games and various activities. The programmes enhanced the ethos and roots of English language and culture as a whole by embarking and expressing themselves in activities that relate to the Shakespeare drama competition and other prospects of the English language and the college community in Sri Lanka.
