COLOMBO: A notification is issued by the Registrar of the Sri Lanka Law College specifying the dress code for Law students with the aim of maintaining the professional standards of Law College.
It is explained that the dress code at the College for male students would be trousers and a suitable shirt and for the females dress/skirt/trouser and a blouse/ kurtha, abaya. Male students are also advised to wear shoes and forbidden to wear slippers / sandals to College.
Fancy clothes such as t-shirts, banyans etc. are not permitted the notification further elaborates.
