COLOMBO: Eid ul Fitr ’ Festival celebrates the end of Ramazan a period of fasting. It is a happy occasion when Muslims mark the accomplishment of fasting and thank Almighty Allah for giving them the self-control to succeed.

This year Muslims in Sri Lanka celebrate Eid ul Fitr Ramazan Festival at home with family members due to the COVID 19 pandemic

Islam has bestowed two festivals for its followers, namely: Eid ul Fitr – the Ramadan festival and Eid ul Azha – the Haj Festival. Both are to be celebrated after some sacrifices, for them they are valued more.

Let our fervent prayer on the holy day of Ramazan, be for peace, harmony, tolerance, understanding and brotherhood.
