GAMPOLA : The Traveller Football Club emerged Champions, in an exhilarating final played with the Valiant Sports Club, at the Zahira College Grounds, Gampola on 25th February ’24, sponsored by the Dinemore Sri Lanka.
The Traveller Football Club became the Champions with a final scoreline of 4-1.
The best player trophy was awarded to Rajitha Lakmal, Captain of the Traveller FC for his outstanding performance throughout the tournament. The best Goal Keeper trophy was awarded to Dhanushka Kumara of Valiant Sports Cub, Gampola.
The event, was graced by the presence of distinguished personalities including Jaswar Umer, the President of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka; Rishad Sadikeen, Chairman/Managing Director of Dinemore Sri Lanka; Rizmi Reyal, the Chairman/Managing Director of The Traveller Global (Pvt) Ltd.; K.M.M.P Karunathilaka, Vice President of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka; Jagath Kumara De Silva, Technical Committee Chairman of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka, among other esteemed dignitaries.
Appreciation extended to M F M Naufer, President and Palitha Hemathunge, Secretary of the Gampola Football League for their outstanding vision and arranging a wonderful Tournament.
