COLOMBO- The city traffic police were seen heavily checking the motorists who are using the roads during the period of travel restrictions.Those motorists who were not carrying proper authorized documents were booked for violations.
All motorists have been advised to travel for purposes for which they are assigned for. From time to time, the government has been giving warnings for people to refrain from going out of their homes during travel restrictions unless otherwise they have bonafide assignments or purposes to leave their homes.
