Christmas vibes come to Lotus Tower

COLOMBO : Sri Lanka Tourism has arranged some exclusive festivities for the Christmas Season, including a gala Christmas festival at the Lotus Tower premises ikn Colombo.

 ‘’Christmas Colombo 2022’’ is taking place from 20 -28  December, from 4 pm onwards till 1 am.

This gala Christmas festival includes a wide variety of Entertainment activities including Live Music & amp; DJ Music, a Christmas market, Food stalls and a Kids corner, spreading the Christmas cheers and fun in Town for everyone to enjoy.

The main purpose of this event is to spread festive glamour showcasing a distinct Sri Lankan flavor creating an opportunity for both tourists as well as the local community to feel and enjoy the Christmas and  New year seasons.

The event began with much glamour and activity under a colorful atmosphere. Visitors will have the pleasure of experiencing the best of entertainment and fun activities in Colombo, completely free of charge.

Up to the 28 th ,an exclusive line up of Musical Bands in the country including  Kurumba (23 rd ) Air Force (24 th ), Police Band (25 th ) , Forty 2 (26 th ) ,Romesh Sugathapala (27 th ) , and Line One on the 28th .

Moreover, this event will also target the tourists who come for the winter season, as well as the locals. The festive vibes showcased will also position Sri Lanka as an attractive tourist destination which has everything in store, highlighting it’s varied attractions in one location while celebrating in a festive atmosphere.

Sri Lanka Tourism expects a large crowd to visit the venue due to its myriad of fun and entertainment activities, supported by the leading hotels in Colombo including The Kingsbury Colombo, Marino Beach, Waters Edge, Shangri –La Colombo, Cinnamon Grand, Hilton Hotels,Taj Samudra, Jetwing Colombo Seven, Granbell Hotel Colombo, and Mandarina Colombo, by having their food outlets open to provide sumptuous treats and the diversity of Sri Lankan cuisine. This will also provide an ideal opportunity for small-scale and street food vendors in finding some profit. Events of this nature will spread a positive message about Sri Lanka and its tourism industry, as well as a preferred destination to enjoy the festive season.
