SYDNEY – Srilankan Muslim community gathered to celebrate the Eid ul Adha dinner organised by Austra Lanka Muslim Association of Sydney on 15/07/2023 at The Granville Centre, Sydney, NSW.
ALMA organised the event to celebrate the spirit of unity and togetherness as they gather under one roof.
Connect with fellow ALMA members, make new friends, and strengthen the bonds that make the community so special.
It was a great memorable evening serving delicious Sri Lankan cuisine, performance Naseed by kids and Trivia for other participants. Barilla Pasta was the main sponsor of the event and a gift bag of their products were distributed amongst the participants.
ALMA is one of the active Muslim organisations in Sydney serving the local community and their services also extended to the most needy in Srilanka. One of the major projects of ALMA is distributing dry rations packs to the deserving families in Sri Lanka in the month of Ramadan. Since 2019 they have partnered All Ceylon YMMA Conference which has over 160 member branches through out the Island, for distributions. This year over 400 dry rations packs were distributed to the rural areas and this was possible with generous contributions by their members.
