He is survived by his beloved wife Gulshan, and loving Father of Shanawaz (Australia) and Ajward (Riyadh).
He is the younger brother of Hameed retired Inland Revenue Commissioner and Packeer Mohideen Retired Assessor at the Colombo Municipal Council.
The late Alithamby who started his career as teacher at Darusalam Maha Vidyalaya ,was attached to John Keels before his departure to Saudi Arabia . He was with Absal.Steel for well over four decades in the Kingdom. During his period in Riyadh ,he took an active interest in the progress of the Sri Lankan International School in Riyadh and the.Lankan Expatriates Society.
