COLOMBO : A student of Al Hikma College Colombo,A.M.M. Anas released an anthology of poems titled in Tamil- “ Vatta Veliyila Kottik Kidakkudhu “ in Colombo on Sunday.
The book was launched at the Tower Hall, Colombo on Sunday under the patronage of Principal of the Al Hikma College M. M. Mahzoor.
Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Leader and Former minister Rauf Hakeem MP was present as chief guest and Abdul Kaiyoom received the first copy of the book from chief guest at this ceremony. Also a set of books was presented to the Al Hikma College by author A. M. M. Anas.
Assistant Director of Education Mrs. M. H. Mumthaz Begum, Al Hikma College Deputy Principals Mrs. S. Jayarani, M.M.M. Hussain, National Institute of Education Senior Lecturer V.N.S. Udayasandiran, Master of Regional Development and Planning University of Colombo N. Krishnakumar also addressed the gathering.
Author of Book A.M.M. Anas proposed the vote of thanks.
