COLOMBO : Residents of Maligawatte Flats B celebrated the Independence Day with the help of the local police on Thursday. The event was organized by Mohammed Rifaz and Vasanthi Caldera, officials of the Flat Dwellers Association. The celebrations held under the patronage of OIC Maligawatte Police Station Wijesinghe Weerakone who unfurled the national flag for the occasion.
